Opener Describe a small business that you know of; do you know the owner of the small business? Could they advise you about the operations of a small business? Look at figure 6.1 on page 86 of the text book and respond to the question; What percentage of families have had their family-owned businesses for two or more generations? If you knew nothing about business, why would it be attractive to operate a franchise business? Name a franchise business you would be interested in operating. Give three examples of raw goods. Give three examples of processed goods.
